Joshua Bumgardner

Joshua Bumgardner is originally from Bellaire, Ohio and attended Bellaire High School. He continued his education at Kent State University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Criminology.
While attending Kent State University, Josh realized he wanted to pursue a career in the legal profession. He attended Capital University Law School to achieve his career goals. At Capital, Josh was elected the Student Bar Association Treasurer and was a member of the Criminal Justice Student Organization. He earned his Juris Doctor and graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 2024. Josh sat for the Ohio Bar in 2024 and was admitted into practice the same year.
Josh joined Wolfe Law Group in 2025 and sat second-chair during a jury trial his first week. Although he is newly admitted to the Bar, Josh has already gained invaluable experience that will be used when providing effective legal counsel.
He has previously interned at a criminal defense firm in West Virginia. He also has experience in bankruptcy law but now focuses solely on criminal defense. Josh believes that everyone is entitled to an effective and diligent defense in all criminal matters.
During his free time, Josh enjoys fishing, watching movies, and hiking. He is also the Chapter Advisor for Alpha Sigma Phi at The Ohio State University.
